Postcards From Ljubljana, Slovenia

Cafes of Ljubljana

Ljubljana is that city where we went with zero expectations. Guess what? It was one of the most beautiful cities we’ve ever been to. It was peaceful, relaxed and calm. Slovenian people were warm, friendly & cool. Ljubljana is also known as the Green capital of Europe because of its preference about Green fuel over traditional fuel.

The city is known as the best city if you want to cycle around. There are lots of bicycles for rent & the rent is CHEAP! Ljubljana is best explored on foot or on a bicycle.

Check out few glimpses of this lovely capital of Slovenia below.

It was fun exploring this city. We will definitely come back to Slovenia to explore more of its marvels. For the beautiful country that it is, exploring some more Slovenian towns is definitely on my bucket list.

And capital city is where I’d like to retire. 😉

Ljubljana is such a quaint little place. It is absolutely charming. The small cafes and the empty streets give it a spectacular life. The majestic castles give the entire place a dramatic aura.

I love the cobblestone streets, I would like wander the area and photograph all the buildings. Walking cities are the best!

Ljubljana looks a beautiful small place. Every street seems to be quite and fascinating. The sandwich you spotted on the way is really cool one. I loved all your postcard. They are beautiful.

It sure is. We were taken aback by what we saw and regretted not planning a longer stay in Ljubljana. It had a sense of mythical vibe to it with the dragons and many interesting elements and stories surrounding it! May be for another time!

You totally must! Ljubljana is so typically European yet better with it’s way of life and the complete vibe that comes along! In fact, you would love cycling here as well 🙂

Yayy! We had decided that day that we would walk around, go cycling and chill. It was supposedly our no camera day. But the city was so beautiful, we had to let go the idea 😛

I myself loved Ljubljana so much! I went to Slovenia without any expectations and ended up falling in love with it. I was lucky to enjoy some wonderful sunny days and take in all the beautiful capital has to offer.
